The BN52V-100-5.2k SP (read “Special Power”) is the latest edition to our RacPower Series. Preceded by the RacPower DU (Daily Use) and BP (Backup Power) models – both of which also have a capacity of 5.2kWh respectively – the new RacPower SP has been extensively improved in (but not limited to) the following areas:

• Redesigned integrated electronic battery management system with improved charge/discharge control, cell balancing and autonomous safety features.
• Up to 6 x RacPower SP units can be connected in parallel, but total installed capacity may be extended even further by interconnecting several such 6P configurations per system.
• Improved serial communication & compatibility with a wider range of peripheral hardware.
• Form factor compatible with industry standard 19″ server cabinets, but also supplied with a collection of brackets with which each battery may optionally either be wall-mounted individually or securely assembled in a vertical stack up to a total of 6 x units.

RacPower SP batteries have originally been developed for use in the telecommunications industry but perform equally well when deployed in various residential and small commercial applications.
