The smallest battery not only in its product range but also across BlueNova’s collective product offering. Perhaps the most widely used too. Suitable for installation in most 12VDC applications (incl. electric gate motors, alarm systems etc.) where charge voltages don’t exceed 14.2V at any stage. Due to the safety measures of the battery’s integrated BMS, exceptions include, but are not limited to, small 12~24V inline UPS systems under certain conditions.

Slightly larger than the BN13V-8-104Wh battery above in terms of physical dimensions and installed capacity. Suitable for installation in similar small 12VDC systems (incl. alarm systems, electric fence energisers etc.). This battery’s physical dimensions would prevent it from being installed in most standard gate motor enclosures.

The third largest battery in the 13V MPS range. Typically applied to power small 12VDC loads used in outdoor/leisure applications & other small backup systems.

Not to be confused with the similarly named BN13V-108-1.4k BT (Bluetooth version) with the same capacity below, this BN13V-108-1.4k battery has been the most popular battery in the MPS range since it was launched.BN13V-108-1.4k can replace 12V 102/105Ah lead acid batteries in most applications where charge voltages don’t exceed 14.2V. Since this battery’s BMS limits overly large discharge current, exceptions to lead acid replacement applications include, but are not limited to, replacement of vehicle cranking batteries and golf cart batteries.

BN13V-108-1.4k BT batteries are the only batteries in the entire Mobile Power Series with built-in Bluetooth functionality. The health & performance variables of these batteries can be monitored individually from any Bluetooth-enabled smartphone on which the app can be installed. Some of the performance variables that can be monitored include battery state-of-charge, voltage (incl. individual cell voltages), error/warning history logs and total number of cycles.

The largest 13V battery in the MPS collection. This battery can be installed to power  any 12VCD system where charge voltages don’t exceed 14.2V. Connecting 4 x BN13V-218-2.8k batteries in series results in a 48V compatible configuration with an installed capacity of 11.2kWh.

Originally a product range consisting of 13V batteries exclusively, our Mobile Power Series was significantly expanded in early 2023 with the addition of the very first 26V models. Despite the option of connecting 2 x 13V MPS batteries in series for installation in most 24V system architectures, continued indications of interest in single-unit 24V compatible LiFePO4 products seemed to persist among both our clientele and the general public. In response to this, the first 26V MPS battery, BN26V-50-1.3k, was launched on promotion on 13 January 2023.

The very first 26V MPS battery to be made available. Note that the product name of this battery is based on its installed capacity @C2 (read: the maximum amount of energy available for discharge over a 2-hour discharge period), while all other MPS battery product names are based on capacities @C10. Technically, this battery therefore has the same kWh capacity as the top-selling BN13V-108-1.4k model, but at double the voltage.
