BP/DU | RacPower Batteries

The RacPower BP battery was originally developed for backup applications while the DU battery below was meant for daily cycling. Since the launch of the BP, it has been extensively upgraded to also be suitable for daily cycling – now with a correspondingly upgraded warranty of 10 years.

Built with A-grade LiFePO4 cells for resilience against fade & developed for installation in 19 inch server racks (or mounted as a single unit or in pairs on one of our wall mount brackets). This battery has the same performance as the BP version above, except that it can be cycled much more.

Despite the fact that RacPower batteries have originally been developed for “horisontal” slide-in installation in 19″ server cabinets, the internal cell & component layout of these batteries also allow them to be installed in vertical orientation. For this reason we’ve developed wallmount brackets on which either one or two RacPower batteries can be installed. For installed capacity requirements exceeding 10.4kWh, additional RacPower batteries may be installed on additional wallmount brackets. In such cases, all batteries included in the parallel configuration should be interconnected via common positive and negative DC bus bars instead of from terminal to terminal.
